Appeal on Killarney veterans - Killarney RSL Funded Programmes
The Killarney RSL Sub Branch is in the process of updating the Killarney Cemetery records to ensure all veterans interred at the cemetery are appropriately honoured on ANZAC Day. The Sub Branch has put a call out to the community to ensure the branch's records are fully up-to-date. |

Killarney community bus service
Earlier this month the state government announced a $78,288 grant that went a little over half way to creating a new community bus service. In hot succession, the federal government has made up the shortfall, with a Veteran and Community Grant to the tune of $66,095 now making the bus service a certainty. |

Barrel Racing 1st Place
Our local barrel racing competitor, Bianca Weier has just returned home after competiting at Taroom where she placed 1st in the Junior Barrel Race and placed 2nd at Longreach, Cloncurry and Mt Isa. |
